Pass the Torch

First tournament for my middle kid
8 year old Walker.
Tonight I had one of those revelation moments.
Looking at this photo of him tonight I can't believe my eyes.
Those of you with kids know what I'm talking about.
It's like he jumped 5 years in the blink of an eye.

Turning 55 next month and I find myself telling anyone who will listen
"it doesn't bother me."
Well that means it does.

Food for thought
When your dad passes you lost your buffer. You are next.
On the other hand this fatherhood thing is the most challenging but rewarding endeavor I have had
(and I have had many)

Oh yeah-how 'bout that 300L

other sizes: small medium original auto

Yes, time flies! I remember shagging foul balls while you were pitching in....Keds?
Turning the foul balls in got a reward of a free drink, I equate it to winning the national lottery, now!
Also, the gloves we had seemed to have a life of their own, dedicated to inflicting pain and suffering onto our hands.

love it, you need to blow this one up for his room and have him autograph it!

I'm glad I waited for the narrative before commenting. I know exactly what you mean. Ian seems to be sprouting every time I look at him. It makes you want to live a lot longer to make sure you get to see them grow up. That was my main reason for the healthy lifestyle change.

Hope the game went well. He looks sharp in the uniform.
