This sign was from a motel in Kilgore some years ago.
I am told the community bought shares in it because no one would build a motel here.
It has been closed for years but the sign was left standing as it was an icon of sorts.
Most of my patients have fond memories ofit and one in particular asked me if I would get her a picture of it.
I got this picture and the next thing I knew the sign was gone!
So thanks toTeresa I have a great nostalgic picture that evokes pleasant memories of days gone by.
