My across the road neighbors daughter called me when I got home yesterday.
She asked if I would go and see her brother, who was brought home from football practice.
He had been vomiting and had confusion.Classic signs of heat illness(i hate the phrase heat STROKE)
The football trainer(my other next door neighbor)and I looked him over and felt the hospital
would the best thing for him at this point. He was pretty dehydrated.
We called the ambulance and they came and got him.
Now I know what will happen next. The story that DOC L went to see abou him at his house
will circulate and people will make a big deal out of something that wasn"'t a big deal.
I guess I should enjoy it. Just seems unfair that just "cause you are a doc",people look at you differently.
My perspective is different because I became a doc when I was 48.
I was oilfield trash before that, and boy do the oilies love that fact-their doc was one of them!
