Once a year, the Royal Danish Ballet gives an open-air performance at Kastellet (the citadel) in Copenhagen, Denmark. I have been there twice and below you'll find some of my pictures.
Notes and links:
(1) Performance 2008 (May 25)
Note, that extra pictures of the fantastic "MINUS 7" stunt (choreographed by Ohad Naharin) can be found in the sub-gallery called "Minus 7". Also, there is a video (not by me) of the Minus 7 performance on youtube:

(2) Performance 2004 (August 21)
The act "Lord knows, I can be strong" (choreographed by Louise Midjord) was done together with the rock band Swan Lee.
How were the pictures taken?
I prefer to be somewhat away from the main scene of events, and I therefore use my telezoom for these shots.
Most of the 2004 pictures were taken just next to the white tent (see http://www.pbase.com/image/32880764 or http://www.pbase.com/clandk/image/32880734). All were taken hand held with a Canon 10D camera (6 mega-pixels) and in most cases I used a Canon zoom lens 70-200 f/2.8 IS with a Canon 2X teleconverter. I have added two pictures at the end of the gallery showing details of the main picture. These pictures have not been subject to any form of post-processing after the raw-conversion (BreezeBrowser w. saturation=high, contrast=high, and sharness=normal).
The 2008 pictures were taken with a 5D Canon camera and a 70-200mm/2.8 IS with Canon 2X teleconverter.
