Arizona Yucca In Snow Storm

Southeastern Arizona

Two days ago our temperature was 77° in the afternoon.
Now, we have a snow storm and a very large one at that.
Driving home mid-day from work found three separate instances of vehicles upside down in the median!
The highway was slick and icy and visability was poor.
This is Arizona!

Really beautiful image. It seems like you do get snow every so often! I know you had some this year too. Makes for striking images, however. V

A very special image Carol! I love the gradation of tone and the emergence of the snow flakes at the bottom of the shot. Fantastic subject to, shows which way the snow is blowing. Also make an excellent B&W, then again maybe better how it is ;-)

HUGE VOTE!

Nice capture, Carol. Yes, this is Arizona which helps to explain the large number of overturned vehicles --- we just aren't used to this stuff.

An outstanding capture, Carol. The snow does look seriously out of place on that Yucca! V~
