I wish...
I had this type of view
from my room...
Where tranquility
gently collides
with all the possitiblities of life...
A wonderful
breathing space
where each breath
is slow and steady.
But it is still not far
from where i live though...
Rendez-vous with the wind...
Le vent dans les voiles et sous les plumes...
For a moment...feeling the horizon in a different way
I'd rather be on the back of this pigeon.
Flight of the navigator...
(Challenge: place i'd rather be)
Note: As i pressed the shutter...the pigeon flew.
I am so glad he did!!!

When it rains....
I have to take my raincoat...
(weekly challenge: weather)
Stormy week-end ahead...
Et profondément sous la neige...
And deep under the snow...
As far as it was possible to see...
I love to walk into silence
and when the clouds accompany me
so close to the ground.
When silence is white and light blue...
Encounter with a flower...
The other day, i was walking in a garden.
A big one.
The weather was gorgeous, it is summer after all.
Many people were in that garden,
walking around,
admiring art,
space and just relaxing in a beautiful atmosphere.
All strangers to me.
Then,
as i walked down a balcony,
on the last beautiful step,
also made of stone,
i saw that flower,
reaching for the ground.
I stopped
and, for a little while
i enjoyed her presence.
Most of the other flowers were standing
kind of...straighter (is this a word? Oh well, if not, now it is one ;)
reaching for the sky, which i liked
but that one looked different
as if she was curious to see what was there
leaving the sky for a moment and explore
or perhaps, just looking at my feet, lol
I am sure she smiled like me
deep inside...

Mushroom in the dark*
Dans le sous-bois
quand le soleil prends sa pause
à la fin du jour
Subtilité d'une tendresse
plus grande
que le silence
Hymne à la terre
pour annoncer
la nuit
note: on my screen, it is pitch black around the mushroom, which is how i want this image.
if you see colour, our screens are not calibrated the same way...

Inukshuk... a humble one.
I was just very happy when i found this humble Inukshuk
Perhaps i found it because i was very happy too.
Little stones, just waiting there...
That morning, something wonderful happened.
Then, after that event, i had to go smile to the world.
I just had to...
As always, i was just wandering around, being attentive
to little things, effortlessly.
Then i saw beautiful branches of a willow tree slowly dancing in the wind.
(next image)
I had to stop.
As I took the picture, through the branches
in the distance, i saw something on the shore.
I had to get closer.
The light on the water was beautiful and this little Inookshook was standing there
alone like a guardian of time...
I felt good.
* *
I love the idea that somebody left it there for me
and whoever else can feel and appreciate...
There is beauty all over
We just have to keep our eyes and heart open
to whatever IS there...
* *
A little window on my world
A place where i know a lot is possible
because a lot is already happening.
The vibes are good...very good.

Note: The Inukshuk rock formations are to mark places on Inuit land...
