La rivière est calme,
je passe.
Il est 07h00 du mat.
37,2, c'est la chaleur qu'on ressent.
L'arbre n'en pouvait plus
Il a plongé...

Un père et son enfant...
C'était à l'automne, il y a quelques saisons.
Ce père m'a touchée et la scène était d'une paix profonde.
J'ai adoré voir ce bref moment dans le temps
et surtout
de l'avoir croqué avant qu'il ne soit passé!

You are not alone
I have been told that this river is rarely this tranquil ~ Quietly sitting on the passenger seat in the car, I was literally drinking the view, a place my eyes were seeing for the first time. My soul riveted to the silent images of an early morning in the valley of the Okanagan. So much beauty unfolding before my eyes. The road was sinuous and the river was completely hidden at times. That is when i requested we stop the car. I knew i had to stop even though it was not a place where people usually stop. From the road, there was nothing to see but something was pulling me. After walking through thick bushes, out of luck and curiosity, that chilly morning of February, this was waiting for me. I was in awe and just totally enjoyed the heart of the moment. Peace engulfed me even more. Those old posts, remnants of a relatively recent past, reinforced that impression of serenity. I hope I captured that moment...
