The Grand Canyon isn't just a wonder..it's one of the seven natural wonders of the world...majestic, awe-inspiring, incredible, spectacular, and breath-taking. The Canyon is 280 miles long, one mile deep, 8 miles wide and covers a total of 1900 square miles. One and a half miles below the South Rim, the Colorado River, averaging 300 feet wide and 100 feet deep, flows west through the Canyon, bending south emptying into the Gulf of California in Mexico. Five different Indian tribes presently occupy the region...the Hopi, Navajo, Havasupai, Pauite and Hualapai. Enjoy the views that the Grand Canyon has to offer.
