Hi David - you are only the second true Norwich fan I have come across in Asia...I'm in Singapore, but originally from King Lynn...keep in touch, ON THE BALL CITY..!
Darren Smith 19-Dec-2003 14:51
Hello David

I enjoy reading your "Hong Kong Footy" column. I thinks its great that Norwich City have got such loyal football supporters all over the world. Feel free to e-mail me about the Canaries. On the Ball City!

Hi David,
Please email me and tell me the meaning and/or origin of the name "Big Eye Chicken". I noticed that your canary has that name and I have seen a similar name used for a type of Chinese Junk, i.e. "Big Eyed Chicken". (A photo of an example of that type of sailing boat appears this month on the first page of a web site about Chinese Junk rigged sailing boats http://groups.yahoo.com/group/junkrig/)

(I have put "*" instead of "@" in my email address to stop spamming bots.)

Hey XXL16!
How are you after Sutchy's fine debut performance - although more solid than spectacular. If I remember rightly he made one last ditch, saving tackle!
Hope he stays for at least a couple of years, and next season in Division 2!
Kevin Lau 17-Jul-2003 05:22
wei;
my name on ur photo is wrong ar. not Kelvin, should be Kevin.
Anyway, nice pic esp ur Norwich club souverniors. It is rarely to see in soccer store that always sold probably team's items.
Rob Butcher 28-Jun-2003 08:53
Hi David

Great to hear you are coming over to Norwich again. The Northern Canaries have a game while you are over in England against local opposition. Do you want to pull Sutchy's shirt on and come and play for Norwich City's fastest growing supporters group? Lots of free beer and pies in it for you.

Look forward to seeing you when you come over

Rob Butcher

Hi nick low, I am David, nice to read your messages but when I reply to you e-mail it's not success. Do you still work and live in Hong Kong now? Do you buy the current Norwich shirt? Also do you play football? A shame we lost to Southampton last week when the game LIVE on Cable TV!

I play football once a week at Victoria Park but unfortunately they are in function in last few weeks, so I stop playing for a few months, hope we can keep contact on the Norwich news. Nice to meet you anyway!

I remember seeing you waering the mighty Yellow and Green top when I lived in Hong Kong - just off Gage Strret in Central. Iwas in a taxi on my way to the ferry terminal and to my suprise I saw you walking past. I shouted "ON BALL CITY" out of the window and your head turned. Sadly I am no longer in HK, but keep up the good work. There is anothe NCFC fan on Lamma Island (and sadly yan Ipswich fa there too) -

Just checked out this site - took my time, yeah I know!! - I take it you didn't post the pictures of you smuggling Daryl back through Customs then?! We all love your efforts, enthusiasm and devotion to the Yellow cause. Keep on keep keeping on, I say and I'll see you for another late-night/early morning chat on Wrath of the Barclay sometime soon...

It was great to meet you at the Ipswich game (shame about the penalty). You truly are the Pride of Far East Anglia !

Hi David, Had a look at your photo's - they are excellent but what has happened to you in goal for Cambridge City? I must say it was a pleasure to let you stay at my house and for me too, the King's Lynn vs Quorn game was my very first FA cup game. Who is the handsome man you are standing with in the King's Lynn photo??
CushyCanary 29-Sep-2002 19:24
As previously commented, XXL16 is top bloke. Anyone who can have this amount of commitment from that distance is great.

Az 29-Sep-2002 12:42
hey, i had the great honour of shaking your hand at reading. i shall never forget it. (you're shorter than i imagined. not that i dream about you or anything...)
Clare 28-Sep-2002 22:17
Disappointed to see no sign of the wonderful shots of you that Mark took but then knowing him he probably put his thumb in the way or pushed the wrong button or something! Not sure why I am writing in you guest book after you slated my driving in Norwich but guess you are worth the effort seens as you single handidly keep the club in business by buying every single thing the club shops sells EVER! Nice to have met you whilst you were here (and other people who I can't remember who wouldn't go to the bar with us at UEA, shame on you all!)
Lennyb 28-Sep-2002 22:08
Hi David,
Great pictures. My husband saw you on a bus coming up to the Heartsease.
Where did you stay in Norwich?
It's a shame we didn't play well when you were here.
All the Best LennyB
