April 8,2008: This photo was taken on the Mississippi River just south of La Crosse, Wi. There were thousands of these White Pelicans on their spring migration to where ever they go. When there is a major snow storm on April 1 or thereabouts often people from the UP get out of town and look for the sun. We did!
