"Catch a Smile" ~ Thursday Challenge.

This picture of my mother was taken last Fall.
I haven't seen her in more than three months,
since I started a new job,
but have plans to be with her again in two weeks.
The challenge for today reminded me of a very old song with the line,
"Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day."
(A BIG thanks to everyone for the kind attention given to yesterday's post.)

My sister and her 3 grandchildren.

For love may come an' tap you on the shoulder,
Some star-less night!
Just in case you feel you wanna’ hold her,
You’ll have a pocketful of starlight!

Great and original shot Carol!
Love that little girl with the balloon hat too ! :-))
