Poetic Visioning Revisited.

Approximately 40 years ago
I tore from a magazine
this picture of a child and
her gift from the garden.
(I believe the picture was part of a detergent ad.)
So powerful was the poetic visioning
in my heart's mind
as I pondered the child,
her gift,
and the subject of her adoration,
I framed and kept the picture with my special possessions.
This is a new photograph of the old,
now faded original, reframed and enhanced.

Precious image.. :) If that child could only ever see this photo of her, she would really appreciate it. If let let say this photo from the mag was 40 years ago and the child was more or less 4 or 5? Then most likely, she's now in the mid 40's. Wow! Really interesting Carol. Vote.

Nicely done Carol ... conjures up a whole array of thoughts, memories and emotions ... then the frame brings it all together ...
Cheers!

It is a captivating image very much in the style of Norman Rockwell. Worthy of keeping for a lifetime to remind one what life is all about! V
