I'm going to have to play catch-up with my
April PAD and posting; have been traveling.
I've been playing guitar more since I've been near my mother and the nursing home. The other day I was asked to play for the residents and was surrounded by folks ranging in age from 102 to 70's. The 95 year olds jest that at "Heartland" (the nursing home) they are not old because there are so many there who are older. Funny! and Amazing. We started with a simple hymn sing, singing old hymns and ended up with an atmosphere of worship, and the Lord's Prayer by request of one of the 94 year old men with a booming bass voice. Wonderful experience with many tears of joy.
