Nature (Wild Card)

This is my first time using a Digital SLR
so I'd really appreciate your honest appraisal.
Still reading how to use the camera, I went out
to a neighborhood lake with tripod (first time)
and camera and this is one of the pictures taken.

1/60s f/4.0 at 75.0mm iso800 full exif

Very nicely composed. i like the long focal length and depth of field. "V" I know you will really enjoy the DSLR and all the possibilities it can give your images. The book is ok to learn the settings, but the best way to learn is hands on. Practice, practice, practice. I wish you much fun in the process!
