Welcome!

These are highlights from my solo backpacking trip between Oct 2007 and Jan 2008. I flew from San Francisco to Hong Kong in October. Then flew to mainland China (Beijing and Xian). Then to India and covered northern and southern cities by plane, train, motorcycle and bus. Then flew to Nepal and drove to Tibet. Then flew back to Nepal, traveling by bus and bicycle. Then flew back to India and lounged on the beach in Goa for Xmas and New Year's. Explored the region by motorcycle, taxi and bus. Then flew to Turkey through Jordan, then to England and finally back home.

I carried the Canon G9 with plenty of batteries and SD cards. Plus a .45x wide-angle and macro lens and two tripods. I shot mostly hand-held at 8MP JPG and 12MP RAW. I hope you enjoy these galleries. Feel free to leave a comment!
