If you look closely you can see the difference in the size of the beveling along the top piece of laminate. The bevel on the top right is larger than the bevel on the top left.

I used the Imperial scale on my Bosch laminate router to "ease" into the laminate. One pass cut nothing, but then lowering the bit 1/16" resulted in too much of a cut. I backed off and used the metric scale, raising the bit 1 mm. at a time which resulted in an acceptable cut :-) I know that the Bosch User Manual has a different approach to easing in the bit. I read it a couple of times, but I found this to be simpler for me.
