The Macro sample images in his gallery were shot using the Vivitar 90mm f2.8 Macro lens on a Canon 50D. Ilumination was an off-camera Canon 420EX flash. All samples were shot hand-held, manual focus. A Chinese Canon FD-EF convertor was used to mount the Vivitar Macro lens to the 50D, this only allowed stopping down to between f8 and f11, which is the aperture the samples were taken at.

All samples are uncropped and have had PP of levels, resizing and USM sharpening. All samples whose names ends with -100pc are 100% crops from the preceeding image, these are unsharpened.

The shots of the lens itself were taken with a Canon 50D and Tamron 60mm f2.0 Macro lens.
