Photo a Day, Day 75...My son made this birdhouse during the winter and he put it up this spring in hopes that a Tufted Titmouse (his favorite of the little birds that visit our feeder) would make it it's home. We've finally seen some activity however not of a Tufted Titmouse... it seems we've attracted an Indigo Bunting pair which is odd since they typically don't nest in houses according to the book we have. I sat out this afternoon in hopes of catching them but they stayed away while I was out there... hopefully I haven't scared them away...(same tree as yesterday's pic - there are a couple of the tiny cherries in view here too - the birds love them!)

I've been trying to catch an Indigo Bunting and they've also eluded me.
Nice secluded cottage they have to hide in!
