Hello,

I love your perspective and view with the camera, have followed you on DPReview for quite awhile. I also love your bit of nightime photography of the stars, that's what I'm really into. Check out my collection when you have time at pbase.com/rjgjr. Great job!!

Hello Citylights....

Enjoy your photo posts on DPreview.. Just wanted to know what lenses & filters you have and which ones you use the most for landscapes and general family shots.

Thanks

Citylights:
I know so little that it even amazes me.
About a year ago I spent a day up around Redding California taking waterfall pictures. I found that they didn't turn out mainly because I didn't adjust the shutter speed, and I intend to learn from that mistake.
I've got a 350 XT and I've taken quite a load of pictures, but the waterfalls interest me as they do you. The difference is you know what you're doing.
Any recommendations would be well received here. I'm going back up there again, and I'd like to improve the results.
What adjustments should be made besides the shutter speed?
Thanks and I certainly admire your pictures.

Just visited your gallery for the first time and added it to my favorites. You have some awesome landscapes. And I love your bird shots, especially the egrets. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your kind comments. I visited your website and found many compelling images as well. I try to remind myself to not become complacent about what I see every day. The familiar is still photograph worthy.

I especially like your pictures of places with history. Nothing where I live is older than 100 years. A very short history.

Hello "Citylights" it's to congratulate you for the beauty of your photos, I love the landscapes, and yours are really beautiful!
By seeing such a nice galleries I imagine how varied and beautiful USA country has to be.
I wish I might go to visit...but it's too far and I'm sure this goal will never be possible for me, Must be beautiful the lake Tahoe, and "Falling Angels", the snowy scapes also very nice, the animals like "Horn Curves" and so on...
Really very nice. At present I'm having a SONY W-1 (My first digicam after shooting for years with film)
I have a webpage with galleries at http://community.webshots.com/user/sfrigola2) I invite you to visit it and I'll be pleased if you're so kind to give me your opinion,
there are also some "citylights",--some night shots from my town and the sorrounding
ones-- (they are in the gallery "scapes and nature")
By the way I love Charles Chaplin and I have seen many times "City lights" -lovely too.
Regards,
SALVADOR (SPAIN)
