Thousand Isles...dimpled waves around them smile ~ Caleb Lyons
The Thousand Islands are located in the St. Lawrence River,
the largest estuary in the world, carries fresh water
from Lake Ontario emptying into the Atlantic Ocean.
Canada and the United States, share the longest common
border among any 2 countries that is not militarized
or actively patrolled.
The Upper St. Lawrence & Thousand Islands, was once called
"Garden of the Great Spirit" or "Manitonna" by the Native Indians.
You have captures the 1000 islands very well!!! It's nice memories for me as well.. not boated the islands for years.. But with my lil' hobo, I will right on these waters next year! Thanks for the preview!

I really enjoyed going on that trip with you lol. Lucky you, it looks as though it was a great trip to be on. Gorgeous gallery from start to finish and a nice touch with the first and last pics.
