Tiananmen Square

In Tiananmen Square, there were over 80,000 visitors that day.

Here are just a few of them. It was easy to get separated from one's tour group, needless to say.

From the front of Tiananmen Square, through the Forbidden City, takes approximately 3 hours. That is without visiting Chairman Mao's shrine.

Some of the roof details.

You've captured a sense of the overwhelming size but also the fine details of the Square. The last photo is a beautiful peaceful one in contrast to 80,000 visitors.
