Cedar Waxwings in Amelanchier Trees

The berries from these trees are wonderful for attracting Cedar Waxwings at this time of year. Amelanchiers are also known as Serviceberries and Saskatoon Berries. The berries make nice pies and jams although it is hard to pick them before the birds get them. Also, they are so small, it would take a lot of picking!
