Boyle Hall Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

Boyle Hall Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

This building was built in 1901 by a religious order and was a sanitarium until 1909. It then became a girl's boarding school. It is no longer used and has fallen into disrepair. Some sources claim that it is haunted!

UPDATE: 8/30/05 The newspaper headlines today say that this building is coming down in September. The area has now been blocked off. This too will pass into history...I am very sad.

UPDATE: Summer 2006 This building is now just a memory!

Amazing they couldn't save a beautiful building like that.

Time to get a resoration project under way, this place is worth, historically at least, preserving. Nice textures and combination of tones.

Beautiful building! I agree with Aunt Coleen, it is a shame to let it fall into disrepair!

Look! I can see some kind of ghostly images in a couple of the windows! I swear! ;)
Lovely shot. Crisp and clear colour, nice exposure.

What a shame; an awful shame to let something so beautiful go to wrack and ruin. It probably is haunted by the nuns. Lovely photo.
