When I saw the thuimbnail for this shot, I thought "Shades of Hokusai!" Look here:

to see how your composition echoes his, after 158 years. Both, of course, are images of water's primordial power, but you've brought the mountain a tad closer to us.

A rare shot. The precision makes one feel the cold of the snow, the warmth of the sun. Then the blurred, misty part (is it an avalanche ?) brings you towards the night... One of those blessed pictures that makes you regret to have only one vote.
