I knew Trier quite well, having lived & worked in nearby Bitburg. The new synagog,
Porta Nigra, the tenements, stores, hospitals, and weinbergen. Visited the Erprobungsstelle 13 for a job interview. Knew the Stadttheater in ways most will
never. Helden Baritone "Mike Rhodes" was friend, teacher & choir director at Bitburg Air Base. I frequently crossed the Moselle on the Roemerbrucke.

Its indeed inspiring to see the one of the most beautiful cities of the world where Karl Marx was born and spent good time there. The cultural heritage and intellectual traditions of the place earned much admiration from all walks of life.
I wish to know more about the the city its language, and culture.
As an admirer of Karl Marx and the Germany at large I have every wish and dream to visit the city and the great nation.

You missed the inside glories of St. Pauline Kirche and also the Dom with its multiple architectural styles. There is also the Stadttheater Trier and Karl Marx Haus. Include the thermal baths and other Roman ruins. Also the Roemerbrucke over the Mosel.
