I lived in both places... the vegetation, the mauka area, the people it's nothing like Florida... and you don't see much of 80-90 yr old driving their cars!! Nice!

Those who have never been to Hawaii have never seen the beauty of the islands. This is nothing like Florida....

The fact that there are mountainous volcanoes, tropical rainforests and areas virtually untouched by humans makes the island of Hawaii NOTHING like Florida, which cannot hold a candle to these islands!

I don't seem to recall mountains and 20 foot waves outside of hurricane season in Florida

Other than the Pearl Harbor Memorial, it looks like Florida.
