If you only take a quick glance you are right you don't realize how large it is but when you study it closer and compare the flagpole and streetlight next to it then it does take on a sense of large. Don't make a U turn or that cop will bust you. Paul

Yes, Paul, I know what you are saying, but I've had to erase a card before...twice actually. This is incredibly dumb because anyone can use a recovery program to get the images back...duh.

In any case as I look at this, this is a failed shot. The window is huge, probably something like 20'x5'...it covers two stories of a jail and police facility...there does not seem to be that sense about the window...it is nice and all, I really did like its classic architectural features, but it doesn't seem to convey the Giantism that is what the window is really all about.

Still, it is good I removed the polarizer in that I did NOT want to remove the reflections from the window, which is one of this images good features.

This disturbs me that one can't feel comfortable shooting a picture out in public for fear that a police man might cuff or harass you. Paul

Not a lot of luck here -- just a very experienced eye.

Nah, I have a pretty steady hand....:>}}} (and Canon IS)

But it was shot quickly and in hast...it is a public building and this was done on the spur of the moment....many police around, so, there was only one image shot, I didn't want anyone to weird out on me...and remarkably well framed, with not much to crop.

I got lucky.

Classicism pure. I only afraid that 1/50 for 57.0 mm is a bit slow & "shaky"
