More than once I have went back in time and reused a previous challenge topic and choose to do so again.
This time we’re going back all the way to the beginning of the CIC Challenge to CIC 1 Transitions / Merged Subjects. You choose which you want to use. I suggest you look through the photos of the two galleries for some very interesting ideas.
I thought it might also by appropriate seeing that we are "in transition" from two challenges into one.
I think the topic is wide enough and abstract enough to allow just about anything to be eligible... I really do not wish to start off the first joint challenge having to make tough rulings about what is on-topic and what is not.
So, transitions ...
from old to new
from black to coloured
from dark to light
from smooth to rough
from young to old
from small to large
from natural to man-made
from wet to dry...
... I am sure you get the picture.
Be wonderfully creative... and show us your interpretation of "transition" or "transitions"
Merged Subjects
For this challenge we are to integrate two subjects in a single image. Simple right? It could be. Or you could make it interesting by keeping the subjects from interacting with each other while keeping both subjects clear.
