CIC #18 Fabrics and Textures

Isn't it wonderful to be in this Canon forum? I absolutely love it:) Ok, now on with the new challenge....

Creating a textured image is not always an easy task. Much of creating texture depends upon the angle, power, and distance of the lighting. Obviously you can add texture to your image, but an overlay of texture will not be allowed in this challenge. That would be too easy!!! What is allowed is contrast, sharpening and anything done within Lightroom, Aperture, or PS. One condition! Do not use a texture overlay to your image!!! That's only one small no no.

The "fabric" part of this challenge can be macros or just the use of fabric in general. Fabric and color is so expressive! The "texture" part of this challenge can be walls, floors, faces, skin, hands, feet, whatever your imagination can create. Combine fabric and texture or use one or the other. This is an open challenge overall - but we must see texture in some artful form. Is glassy smooth a texture? Oh yea :) Why is the challenge called Fabrics and Textures when it could easily be combined with just Textures? I don't know.... but I'm sure you'll find a way to use it to your advantage?
