Hello Chuso,
indeed, we almost were at the same place, the same time. I checked it out, and we were in Roussillon the 23rd of August.
You have some wonderful galleries here. My absolute favourite is the "Abstract & Still"-gallery. You got my vote for this one.

Beautful pictures, like your use of leaves, this site dragged me away from dailygammon for longer than I exspected.

I was inspired by the simple, powerful compositions; an excellent body of work!

My fiancè, Amanda, and I would deeply appreciate your permission to use The Potter's Hands. We are creating our wedding invitations to be a storybook of our lives. One picture we lack is of a potter shaping clay. The picture will symbolize our Creator molding for each other. Your picture stands above all we have seen. Let us know if this is possible.
many thanks

Sinh Tran 08-Jul-2003 00:33

Anh Chu So,

Wow! I like your gallery. However, I'm not surprised because you are truly an artist. You draw well, sing well and take great pictues. You should post your drawings as well.
You would be a great architect too (if you did not change to electrical egineering, hi..hi..).

Take care and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments. You have a good eye for composition and I've enjoyed looking at some of your work. I'll have to come back (and I will) when I have more time to look at the rest. – Tom

Chuso,

You are one very talented photographer. I love the way you percieve everyday objects. Your photographs aren't merely objects shot in a glamorous or appealing way.. they somehow express how you percieve the object. You have mastered composition and the use of light. Simply one of the best galleries on pBase. If you have time, swing by my gallery and take a peek.

Hi 'chuso', very (+very) nice galleries ! Especially landscapes & architecture ...

I'd like to publish some of your artwork or photos as wallpaper at http://www.klicklac.com

Every wallpaper is downloaded with KlicKlac Studio software and keeps your copyright and your url.

This is a nice tool to promote your prints.

As we say in FRANCE 'Essayer, c'est l'adopter !' ... translation: 'Try it before your buy ' people who get your wallpaper would like the same as a print that could be bought at your website or through pbase.com !

Let me know ! My website is and will be dedicated to promote photographers and artists.

P.S: check Yann Arthus Bertrand gallery at www.klicklac.com ...

Classic picture book photos with out being overly cloying, or sentimental.
Superb!

My friend Chuso - it's such a joy to wander through your galleries! I've told you this before, but you have a wonderfully artistic eye. As a whole your images are thoughtful, moody and lovely. The word "introspective" comes to my mind. Of course, I saw a few long shadows, which made me happy ;) I look to you as one of my teachers. Thanks! Kim

Hey Trung,
Thanks man...That's a very nice thing to say (up until the last sentence :-)) I'm glad that I could induce some QUIETNESS in your busy life, bud...
Take care,
Chuso

Hi Thi
My thinking about your album can be summarized in one word: "QUIET"
QUIET way in taking photos
QUIET in layout of photos
QUIET colour
All your nice photos are transfering to viewers the QUIET life, opposite to something are happending now in the world (war, epidemic...)
And I feel...QUIET everytime getting in your album.
But I don't think you are ...QUIET man :-) :-) :-)

I enjoyed looking through your albums. Very nice collection. Thanks for sharing. If I have to pick a favorite, it would have to be abstracts...powerful perspectives.

This is high class photography,no doubt about that.
It looks professional.
My favourites are 'Fragrant Sand','Life stands still',
'Sundown in dark coner','The Tulips'(Very dramatic,i
didn't think it was possible to make tulips look interesting),
and Nr11'The red house'(Architecture).
But it's a matter of personal taste of course.
