Typically a six day stage race, the 20th edition was run as a single stage race in 2011. Th race, Le Defi De L'Oisans, circumvents the Oisans et Ecrins mountain ranges in the French Alps southeast of Grenoble. The race is 180km, the climb is 12,000m, and it took us 59 hours, starting on July 27, 2011.
