thousands of Stalin's on the north promenade just before sunset sweeping around at great speed, this was an amazing sight which I haven't seen for years .from time to time they would settle on the roofs of the pier ,and was just a carpet of birds and suddenly all taking off again ,a beautiful site I was lucky enough to picture
