I grew up here.
This reconstruction is very cool in my opinion as the street for a few blocks was extra wide to accomodate a long gone factory (now turned to townhouses). The curbs jut out enough to slow traffic and create indents for street parking. I do hope they are not silly enough to put in a bike lane between the parked cars and the street traffic. That would be extremely silly (and create a dangerous situation for all involved.)
