As a psychoanalyst, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. What *does* lurk beneath? Super concept. zM

Wonderful composition Christine, the mood what this abstract photo has is beautiful.

This is just the kind of photo that leaves it all to the viewer... You give us a little window, a shred of light and then... depending on what one has inside at the moment the view can be liberating or suffocating, either way it's moving and mostly thought provoking and that's really the "heart" of photography ;)

Alan again. I just saw your subtitle. Now my Rohrsach(sp?) test takes me to the zoo. Or did you get influenced at Columbia College, or the Institute. Chicago is a great inspiration for art.

Great Image. The "cave" leading out into blinding light. Or is this an inward experience? My shrink would have me go that way. Anyway it deserves its title.

Your creative imagination at work. I really like this. GMV

Il y a un sentiment de mouvement dans cette image - cet enfouissement ne peut etre qu'en cours, plus de depots vont arriver sur cette source de lumiere et l'obstruer totalement. Une image etonnante... qui fait la psychanalise des visiteurs.

Dr.Freud would be extremely happy to see this, I think. Bravo, Christine!

Disturbing - and this was probably your intention. It works successfully!

I am encouraged to see you experimenting with non-representational forms, Christine. Using photography to express feelings, instead of interpreting facts, can be a liberating and thought provoking process. Just let it go, my friend, and you will be all the wiser for it.

La fenêtre est bien "chargée" de toutes sortes de choses en effet... sans doute y a-t-il là maintes associations possibles... J'aime que la lumière perce malgré ce noir.

I see a face as well.. but it seems to be a woman .. and of no harm to anyone.
Excellent light and shadows on this textured wall, Christine.

Errm is that a face at the bottom right?, and a bird on a perch above him....this wall is alive Christine...get out of there NOW! ;-)K
