Corpsepaint is a type of stage make-up used by members of some black metal bands.
These images, part of a series still in progress, were originally taken as part of a university assignment.
These were shot with a 4x5 camera and the prints are 30" x 22.5".
Wow. These are wonderful. Nice that you are also using a large format camera. I'm jealous. :-)
ils sont vraiment tous impressionants!
Wow, great! V
I ALMOST CAN FEEL THE MUSIC , GREAT GALLERY =V=
Lovely chaps. I can almost hear that shredding guitar and double bass drum. Be a pleasure see the prints hanging together in a very dark space.
Ces visages sont impressionnants et très graphique.
C'est superbe une galerie et son thème est très original.
amazing collection of characters! V
A gallery of "living dead", each painted face is an artwork on its own. Interesting and impressive project, my admiration to the make-up designer and of course the photographer! Powerful!
I don't think Walmart is going to hire this crew as greeters. On second thought, number 7 with the baby face would probably be okay if he put on one of those blue vests. ;)
Cool stuff, and I bet the big prints look wicked. ~V~
(Glad to see some new stuff in your galleries.)
Very creative! V

I would love to see these as prints.

Really well done Christine!
Your creativity never seized to amaze me.
The characters are outstanding.
Love the series Christine!
These are fantastic to view. At the large print size they must be overwhelmingly powerful and dramatic. VOTE!
A new great series, with a great treatment. Big vote for this excellent artistic work !
Hey! It's been awhile...fantastic gallery and excellent work with the view camera!....and I assume you were the make-up designer?..+V (PS: Love the band names...the Panzerfaust was my favorite weapon in 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein'!)
Scary people, very interesting gallery!
Wish you more charming company in 2010!
