Autumn- Reasons Why I Hate Summer

My favorite season of all. Everything seems just right in October and November- the angle of the light, the smell of the leaves, the colors all around. Vibrant, rich, supersaturated- what's not to like? Frost on the grass. Pumpkin pie. Crunchy apples. Burning logs in the fireplace. The sound of leaves skittering down from the trees. Geese making their exodus. A harvest moon. All of these things give me a kind of primal joy that's difficult to explain but which REQUIRES the camera.
