Very nice photos, but I have a problem viewing your site.
When I click on an image on your main page, I want to see an enlarged version of that image, but all I see are the thumbnails of other images.
When I make a gallery on my pbase site, I make sure that the title image is the first one when the gallery opens. Just re-number it 10. Then we can see it and click on it to see the enlarged version.

VERY Nice Wesite! God Bless You and Yours. I would ask that all of those who know the Jesus of the Bible, to take a few moments today and join me at http://www.mitchellbaxter.com/ for prayer. It was Jesus who said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
There is only one gospel, the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST FOUND IN THE BIBLE

I'd been living in Neuchatel for 1 years and now I've left for 4 yrs. I've been looking for some good pics about Neuchatel for so long and now I found them. What an amazing feeling to look back to those experiences from this way!

Why do you choose gifs to be on the Photo a Day gallery - strictly speaking, gifs is not a single picture.

I really enjoyed looking at your animated photos.

Hello Francisco
I answer to you in English because I don't speak Spanish (my mother tongue is french).
The F717 is a very good camera. I would'nt change it for a F828, because it's maturer.
With the F717 you can make small movies at 320 x 240 pixels (format MPEG) then I work the files with different programs (for ex. "Image Ready" - a part of "Photoshop") then I save it as animated gif (*.gif) with about 30-40 frame, size: 160x120px and about 500 ko big. So it's only a "Thumbnail" but it's the only way to have a small file.
Enjoy. And wish you a happy new Year.
Christian from Fribourg (Switzerland)

Hi Christian,

You have wonderful photos. I just like them very much and besides your natural talent to shoot photos I also can see the quality of the sony f717.
But how do your prints in A3+ look? Do you get enough quality printing with just 5 million pixels?

You know I am thinking in buying a digital camera but I'm wondering about the following dilema:

Should I Have a complete Pentax gear with the new SDLR ist D or just the new Sony F828 ?

I have a Pentax gear with 2 Pentax Z1 film cameras and Pentax and Sigma EX prime lenses(3) and zooms from 17mm to 200mm(3)and an F500 Pentax flax. I am a serious amateur with the ambition to exhibit and publish (some of) my best work. I use to shoot around 100 films per year. I scan my negs and slides with a HP s20 2400 dpi scanner, I use photoshop and print my photos with an Epson 1270. I also use P&S when travelling: a Yashica T5 (with a Zeiss lens)and a Ricoh GR-1v.
I wonder what should be the best option for me, considering that I am not completely satisfyed with the quality of my shots, that I want to try shooting digital and that I can achieve the same (or higher) quality:

1. Buying the new DSLR Pentax ist D and using it with all my lenses, or;
2. Just selling all my lenses and Pentax film cameras, keeping the P&S and buying the new Sony F828 (with a Zeiss zoom)???

Could you help me in this decision?

Thankyou

Joaquim

Best regards.

Saw your comment left on user Tigadee and followed the link to here, indeed an excellent piece of work. Keep posting.
The F707 indeed produces very sharp image. I'm thinking of getting it too.

Hello Christian,
Thanks for your comment in my guestbook. I like your pictures too. Let me tell you that the Maclehose Trail 1&2, 03.JPG is a overflow devise. If rainfall is too much, the excess water will discharge to the sea through this devise in the reservoir.

Hi Christian,

Thanks for your comment in my guestbook.

About the Sony F505, I think it is excellent and probably the best 2.1MP digital camera. It produces very sharp images (thanks to the CZ lens). I still use it as a point and shoot camera.
Guest 20-Mar-2002 19:54
Impresive!...
A lot of good pictures in your galleries

You asked me about my virtual landscapes gallery. It's all virtual. The landscape calculation is based on a fractal terrain generator called Terragen.
Thanks for your message

Hi Christian. Very nice shots -- the F707 is a great camera! (This from a Nikon person who doesn't hand out digi-compliments to many other digicams!). Keep on shootin'!

Hello Christian. I think you have a pretty good eye for compostion. The main problem I see is that most of your photos have way too much jpg compression. I take a lot of shots to get some good ones and I always do post processing sharpening and color enhancements with photoshop.
