USS HORNET CV-12

One of 24 Essex-class aircraft carriers built during and after WWII. Built at Newport News, Virginia, she is the eighth ship to be named "HORNET". Now docked at Pier 3, Alameda Point, Alameda, CA. (I'm not Navy, but I like exploring ships.) If anybody has any corrections here, let me know.
