Wupatki Ruin - south part

Wupatki National Monument, Arizona

This dwelling was occupied from about 1120 to 1200 AD by the Sinagua Indians,
and this region represents the northern-most limits of occupation by this prehistoric tribe.
The Little Colorado River, seven miles east, roughly marks the boundary between this group and the Anasazi.
At its peak the village contained over 100 rooms with 250-300 inhabitants.
