For years and years now, I've had a big IKEA bag in the attic full of black and white pictures of when me and Ceri were young, plus hundreds of loose photographs, many of them taken before my time. I have recently purchased a portable photo scanner and have recently scanned them all in, onto the computer, and eventually there will be a good selection of them on here, to already join the gallery of colour slides that I have.

When it comes to old photographs, if you want to preserve them digitally, then you need to act now, as soon as possible. The longer you leave it the worse they could get. I've got all mine onto the the computer now, but the slow process of tweeking the brightness and contrast, cropping and restoring a true look black and white effect is taking its time! It will all be worth it in the end!
