Saturday had been such a dreary and miserable day, that we were pleasantly surprised that the weather was extremily nice this Sunday. Therefore making the most of the weather we drove down to the village of Hensol. Accessible from the M4 Motorway at Junction 34, you can follow the signs for Llanerch Vineyard and you are practically there. Walking through the grounds of the old Hensol Hospital and up past the new Vale Hotel Resort we encountered some of the nicest scenery that you could imagine. We continued up through the fields and hillsides to the hamlet of Talygarn, and then up as far as the motorway, and the returning through Pantaquesta.
