Craig....The blue is characteristic of many households in Rajasthan, depictig a higher class in society. It also serves as cooler color in a region where tenperaturs can soar 45+ during summers. There is no color retouching except for some tonality adjustments and sharpening. My images are a WYSIWYG in reality.
Gul Chotrani 23-Apr-2005 03:59
Hello Craig...
Thanks for visiting my gallery - I had many problems with color issues on editing until I recalibrated my monitor, so I've been catching up with lots pictures taken in the past year or so - still have about 500 pics more to process and upload.

I've also been neglecting the comments/messages received for a while now, and thought I should visit others too. You have a very impressive set up here.

Kind regards, Gul

Hi Lisa!

The bottom three rows I had taken with the 5200, and the others were done with my old 885. When I took the pictures I didn't use a tripod, I just used macro mode, and ensured there was enough light. To be honest I've had the 5200 for a month now, and haven't had cause yet to use a tripod.

Chris.
Lisa 12-Aug-2004 17:06
Chris:
I loved your photo shots. I also own a Nikon 5200 and I am curious - Are you using a tripod for your flower shots?
Did you shoot them with the 5200?

Would love to hear the details.
Lisa
