Last year was the first time we ever assembled Gingerbread houses. It wasnt as easy as we imagined, despite the illustration on the box of the gingerbread pieces, showing the little children assembling it, and the fact that we ruined two saucepans and it took over an hour to clean the oven after boiling over the hot sugar. Ahh well, you live and learn - they say! Thank god my sister Ceri was next door at the time, she would have gone nuts!!
