If you want to hear the latest scandall, then the canteen is the place to be. Usually at about 7.55pm or whenever I remember, I dismiss class for a tea break, and most people go down to the canteen block in the school, where Phyllis is waiting to serve cups of tea, coffee and other refreshments (except pancakes for Shrove Tuesday, Hotcross buns, and pie and chips - all of which I am constantly teasing Phyllis about!)
