I would guess your Passat is a diesel, with 453.9 miles on the small mile counter and still gas in the tank? I thought this was a Volkswagen from the thumbnail. My 2000 New Beetle 1.9 diesel just passed 170,000 miles. It is the best investment in transportation I have ever made. Well done! Scott
