The Big Fish by John Kindness, situated on the Donegal Quay, measuring 10 metres long and made
from printed ceramic mosaic. The decoration on its outer skin illustrates texts and images from
Belfast’s history; hidden inside is a time capsule with more information and images of the city.
In the background is one of the two giant gantries remaining in the now disused
Harland and Wolfe shipyard, on the other side of the River Lagan.
