As can be seen from these galleries I am a keen photographer with some wide tastes(and some may say) bizarre ideas. I initially 'joined' pbase to take the opportunity to show some pictures from my last Himalayan trek and it spread from there. I have only to think once that I have 'cracked' this photography lark and then am immediately put firmly back in my place by the variety and quality of the vast majority of pbase contributors some of whose galleries leave me gasping. Still that is what gives me the encouragement to keep looking and keep trying. So I will.
