stunning photos. i am a professional photographer in n.o. since 1963 .i do what i call my art work and have several galleries selling my work, i have plantation photos and i do x rays of seashells, flowers and fish and scan into the computer and paint with painter x i then output on canvas 16x20 on my epson 4000 printer. wfithin the past 3 years have been doing photography of la birds eagles, egrets, heron, and would like to get some shots of the roseatta spoonbills especially on their nest with the young ones. i went to lake martin last year expecting to see them nesting within shooting distance of the road like i was told they were doing before katrina. however i could see them roosting a block or so further from the road. this time i will bring my canoe. is it too early to have them on their nests and are the young ones developed to where they have their white fuzz? your advice is greatly appreciated. you can see some of my work at sonnyrandon.com. i will be putting up some of my eagle shots later today.. thanks again sonny

What beautiful photos! I love the spider web. Paul, you've got a great eye. But wait till you see the pictures when I get there. They will look like beautiful pictures with a crazy man with a wheelchair in the way.
Looks like you found Lake Martin. Foggy conditions is my favorite time to be at the lake. Did you get to see the sunrise or was it too foggy? Some of those shots look very familiar. This time of the year is very slow at the lake. Things get much more interesting and colorful with springtime. I'll be posting quite a few shot that I took Friday. We had a really beautiful sunrise with some great colors. Anyway, nice job on your shots. You just can't get much color on those foggy mornings. On those mornings it's more about getting a good composition.
