Meropidae: Bee-eaters

Slender with long, narrow, curved bills and long pointed wings. A graceful and swift flyer that catches insects while in flight. Species commonly found in Singapore includes the Blue-Tailed Bee Eaters and the Blue-Throated Bee Eaters.
