I don’t have much affinity with the music of Pink Floyd.
Although one might think that I was a fan given the age group I belong too.
I bought one LP in the seventies, but that one didn’t work properly on my turntable.
The LP was Atom Heart Mother (1972).
Nevertheless I thought it would be a great challenge to participate in the Pbase November 2009 Pink Floyd song titles.
For some the idea for a capture was immediately there, on others I had to use my imagination a bit more.
For some of the images I travelled far and for other I found them in my “backyard”.
As far as I could I added some of the lyrics to the song titles, a lot of Pink Floyd material is instrumental.
I noticed now how childish some of the lyrics are.
For example “ we do not need no education”, belongs so strongly to the elite education system of the sixties and seventies.
Now we know how important education is for self-actualization.
